Description
Völuspá is a soft contemplative game inspired by the Norse mythology, especially the poetic Edda. It depicts the beginnings of a new world, with nothing, allowing the player to populate it with various elements that can also be painted.
Made initially for a GameJam organized in May 2020 by TutoUnityFR, a French Youtube Channel, where the theme was "Start with Nothing" (Both links are in French).
The game is zipped in an archive with all necessary file and the executable file is named Voluspa.exe.
Controls
- Tab changes game modes between Construction, indicated by the hammer ( ) and Paint, indicated by the coloured brush ()
- Shift + Click allows to set an item down in Construction mode, or to paint with a colour in Paint mode.
- A and E allow to go through the various elements available in Construction mode or to go through the available colours in paint mode
- H displays a Help panel
- a long press on R launches Ragnarök and resets the world
- Esc closes the game
